"Drop in the blue" limited edition print. This picture was taken in the water around the Andanam islands of India in April 2000 from the dive boat Colona II. This is one part of the world less travelled and the people less influenced by technology and more by life. A lot of these waters have not seen divers and without many boats entering this area, it will hopefully remain in its own time. The sun was high and bright, the water blue and flat, when someone saw dolphins. Very quickly we were all in the water and within 10 minutes we met up with a large group of barracudas. With the sound of dolphins whistles echoing through the water the fish were going around in circles, balling in their defensive mode. We didn't see the dolphins but the balling fish more than made up of it. Photographs and work by Edward Whiting. www.fromtheblue.co.uk
