In April, 2015 yachts from all over the world will arrive in Antigua to participate in the one of the world’s major sailing events and the granddaddy of Caribbean regattas, Antigua Sailing Week, to be held from the 25th of April to the 1st of May, 2015. From small beginnings this regatta has developed over the past 47 years to become one of the preeminent yacht racing events in the Caribbean and one of the most prestigious in the world.
Over 100 yachts participate every year ranging in size from 24 feet to over 100 feet. The Regatta attracts everything from serious racing boats including state-of-the-art, high-tech racing machines to a variety of performance cruising and cruising boats.
